Case study · Prepared for the Coaching Association of Canada · November 2026

I built one for you. Here's Tim Hortons.

This is my sponsor pitch process, run on a real prospect for CAC from start to finish. It is not a mock-up. The research is real, the pitch site is built and working, and every claim in both traces back to a dated public source.

One thing to say plainly: this whole package, research, report and pitch site, was produced by an AI research-and-build pipeline that I designed and then checked by hand. Your 2026–27 plan commits CAC to an AI strategy and Copilot Studio agents. This is what that kind of capability looks like when it is pointed at revenue.

The process I ran
1 · Brief

Set the rules

CAC can sell only what it owns: multisport NCCP modules, the Locker, Inside Coaching, National Coaches Week, the Coaching Leadership Awards and the Responsible Coaching Movement. No Olympic or Paralympic marks, nothing Petro-Canada titled, no sport-specific course content.

Grassroots only
2 · Screen

Start with your current partners

Before picking a brand, I checked every current CAC partner, so the pitch wouldn't go to an existing sponsor or clash with one: Petro-Canada, MONDO, Dove, Nike, Laureus, Kids Help Phone and the Globe. None is a food, coffee or restaurant brand, so Tim Hortons is open. Two things to confirm first: whether the Petro-Canada agreement gives it a say over new national partners, and apparel, since Nike works with you and adidas with Tims.

No conflicts found · 2 to confirm
3 · Decode

Read everything

Four streams: CAC's own inventory, Tim Hortons' brand and voice, its sponsorship ledger, and its decision-makers. Each claim dated and rated for confidence.

69 sources
4 · Build

Write it to them

A pitch site in Tim Hortons' own warm register, addressed to one person. Tap reactions come back to CAC before the first meeting.

Every section traceable
What the research pulled out
Built for the phone first

Every pitch I build is designed to be read on the sponsor's phone before anywhere else, because that's where a first look actually happens: between meetings, on the way in, forwarded from a colleague. Short sections, one idea per screen, and tap reactions instead of forms. Open the pitch site on your phone to see it the way Tim Hortons would.
